Monthly Traditional Capoeira Roda

Step Into the Circle of Capoeira Angola

The roda is the purpose of why we train Capoeira Angola. It is a space where practitioners gather to share music, movements, games, history and ancient traditions. At Seattle Capoeira Center, we host the space for Capoeira Life’s free monthly Capoeira Angola roda in Seattle’s Southend, bringing together the community to celebrate this vibrant art form.

Capoeira Life is a community arts initiative affiliated with the Center and powered by Shunpike. Free access is supported by community members and local sponsors, including City of Seattle, King County Parks, 4Culture, ArtsFund, and ArtsWA as part of a commitment to increase access and inclusion in Capoeira.
