Our Story

Founded in 2006 by Mestre Mangangá, the Seattle Capoeira Center is a continuation of Washington State’s rich Capoeira legacy, which dates back to 1986 and is one of the oldest traditions in North America. Dedicated to teaching and preserving the art of Capoeira Angola, our mission is to inspire individuals through cultural education, physical fitness, and community engagement.
